Company Profile

Greenvalley International B.V. was founded in 1996 by Rita Groenendaal and is located in Wageningen, the Netherlands. Rita was born and raised on a dairy farm. Since early childhood she has been active in the agricultural sector; an interest she has maintained up to the present day. After being in the employment of UTD-mengvoeder, Smithkline Beecham and Eurotec Nutrition, Rita decided to start her own company in 1996. She named it Greenvalley International - not only a literal translation of her last name, but also a reference to "green" products. The company name also reflects the main activities of the so-called "Gelderse Vallei" and the "Food Valley" to which Wageningen belongs.

In 2006, the Greenvalley team was strengthened by Henk van Faassen. Henk van Faassen is a qualified veterinarian with more than 20 years experience as manager in the animal agricultural sector. He started out as technical supporter/ trouble shouter, but later developed into marketing, communication and sales at UTD-mengvoeder and Lohmann Tierzucht. As Greenvalley Sales Director, Henk maintains close contacts with vendors, clients and experts in the field. Henk is also involved in the development of new products.
Susan Grotenhuis joined the Greenvalley team in July 2009. She is responsible for order processing and administration and office management.
Since May 2011, Marcus Tarara works for the company as sales manager Germany. Marcus, as an agricultural engineer, has many years experience in the sale of agricultural products in Germany.

Quality

Greenvalley International specializes in the development & supply of high-quality products and is GMP+ certified. Greenvalley is a supplier for all participant companies of Dutch Safe Feed and the Dutch-Belgian Trusq alliance. Our own vendors are also GMP+ or FAMI-QS certified; a guarantee for high-quality raw materials/components. All of our products are user-friendly and safe for humans, animals and the environment. Greenvalley logistics also reflect our high quality standards by providing correct order processing and timely deliveries.
